Mark Stewart - Director
Mark Stewart has 24 years’ experience in structural engineering, the first 6 years in steel work fabrication, and the remaining in consultancy where he has specialised in design of steel and reinforced concrete structures. Mark has gained experience in all stages of projects from concept design to overseeing site construction.
Since graduating from The University of Abertay, Dundee in 1994, Mark moved to London and is now based in Adelaide. He has worked on a variety of projects throughout the UK including single and multi storey commercial, industrial, residential and retail projects and has experience in car parking and drainage work.
Highlights of his career to date include the structural design of a 20m high framed warehouse for a super market chain, which utilised twin span 50m trusses, a 3D structural analysis of a 3 storey curved atrium structure at Windsor and the structural design of a 6 storey commercial development within central London.
Mark has delivered some great local projects including Thebarton Community Hub for City of West Torrens, Westminster School Boarding House, Woolworths & Big W re-development Cumberland Park, as well as Radio Rentals and Harvey Norman at Woodville. Other project recently include Adelaide Airport Long Term Car Park expansion, Miele Gallery Adelaide and the Beerenberg warehouse and production facility.
Mark brings a wee dose of Scottish flair to your project and outside of the office splits his time between family life and in coaching Rugby Union (which in an AFL state is no small ask).
